MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Membership benefits for one individual.
Garden Club ($40) Designed for gardening clubs, entitles group to one subscription to WildfloraRI, society mailings, and discounts to all special events.
Limited Income/Full-time Student ($10) Membership benefits for one individual.
Family ($53) Membership benefits for two adults and their children living in the same household under the age of 18, and includes 2 free walk passes.
Contributing ($75) All Individual benefits plus, 2 free walk passes and a $10 gift certificate good towards any RIWPS purchase during the coming year (plants, books, etc.)
Sponsoring ($150) All Family benefits. In addition, you will be eligible to schedule a personal property consultation with a RIWPS botanist. This consultation will help you
develop an inventory of the wild plants on your property, provide suggestions for creating and maintaining wild plant gardens based on local conditions, and
offer recommendations for specific plants suitable for your yard.
Benefactor ($500) All Sponsoring benefits plus copy of the "must have" RIWPS Book of the Year (to be announced).
Life - Individual ($1000) All Contributing benefits for life.
Life - Family ($1500) All Sponsoring benefits for life

A membership to RIWPS is a perfect way to observe an anniversary, graduation, wedding, or other special occasion. RIWPS will send a gift acknowledgement to you
and a notification of the gift to the person you designate.
MATCHING GIFTS Many employers will match the charitable contributions of employees. To increase the
value of your gift, ask your human resources or personnel department about matching gifts.
DONATIONS You don't need to be a member in order to support the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society
in its work! Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated and are fully tax deductible.
The Rhode Island Wild Plant Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions and dues in excess of $5 (for annual Bulletin subscription)
are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. |
